Formulated to restore, build and maintain the natural seasoning on your cast iron cookware preventing it from developing moisture damage that can lead to rusting and excessive sticking.

This seasoning will make cleaning and cooking with cast iron a pleasant experience! Unlike grapeseed, flaxseed, canola or palm oil, this cast iron oil will never go rancid and does not need to be refrigerated. This means that your cast iron cookware will not get a foul odour or become sticky over time.

HOW TO USE:   Wash your cast iron cookware first using CARON & DOUCET CAST IRON SOAP AND SALT SCRUB. Thoroughly dry your cast iron cookware before applying the cast iron oil. Pour a small amount (the size of a quarter) of the cast iron oil onto the cookware and use a cloth to work the oil into the cast iron.
